Texas Instruments bq77205 Over-Voltage Protector
Texas Instruments bq7205 Over-Voltage Protector offers Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) and Open-Wire (OW) protection for Li-ion battery pack systems. This over-voltage protector IC features an internal delay timer that detects overvoltage and open-wire conditions. The overvoltage and open wire trigger the OUT pin when the fault is detected. The bq77205 over-voltage protector also features a Customer Test Mode (CTM) with significantly reduced delay time for quicker production-line testing. Typical applications include handheld garden and power tools, cordless vacuum cleaners, UPS battery backup, and light Electric Vehicles (EVs).Features
