Ideal for automotive, industrial and general lighting applications utilizing the minimal external components. The NCL30160 Constant-Current Buck Regulator operates with an input voltage range from 6.3V to 40V. The hysteretic control of this ON Semiconductor NCL30160 Constant-Current Buck Regulator gives good power supply rejection and fast response during load transients and PWM dimming to LED arrays of varying number and type. Protection features include resistor-programmed constant LED current, broken/open LED protection, under-voltage and thermal shutdown.
