Reducing blue light content to less than 2%, LUXEON NightsScape Technology LEDs meet new lighting standards and help cut down on harmful light pollution. Lumileds LEDs with NightScape Technology are ideal for outdoor lighting applications, including streetlights, floodlights, landscape lighting and downlights.
Lumileds LUXEON NightsScape Technology LEDs, now available at Mouser, reduce the negative impact of night-time illumination on plants, wildlife and the human circadian rhythm. The reduced blue light content also decreases glare, increasing visual acuity for motorists and pedestrians alike. With less than 2% blue light content between 400 nm to 500 nm, LUXEON NightScape Technology LEDs support dark-sky initiatives and comply with new outdoor lighting standards.
The 3030 HE/HE Plus LEDs are suitable for panel lights, downlights, wall lights and horticulture, while the 5050 high-power LEDs can be used in street lights, flood lights, and wall packs, among others. Packages are industry-standard, making it possible to meet new outdoor lighting standards without redesigning optics or fixtures. Functional color rendering creates a warm, welcoming light ideal for outdoor illumination. These efficient LEDs provide around 185lm/W and have a lumen maintenance value similar to standard white LEDs.
