Mouser-Backed DS PENSKE Formula E Racing Team Earns Another Podium Finish in Berlin

May 13, 2024 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, congratulates Jean-Éric Vergne and the DS PENSKE Formula E racing team as they celebrate their third podium win of the season. Vergne took second place in Round 9 of the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship at the Tempelhof Airfield in Berlin, Germany. Stoffel Vandoorne finished a well-fought 7th resulting in the team scoring a total of 24 valuable points.

The Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit, with its abrasive track surface, poses a special challenge to drivers, requiring them to nurse their tires on the rough asphalt. The track also featured a new layout, re-profiled to compliment the faster, more efficient Gen3 cars.

DS PENSKE ended the weekend at the 4th position in the teams' standing, with Vergne 6th and Vandoorne 9th in the drivers' standing. With Berlin marking both the midpoint of the season and the 10th anniversary since the inception of the net zero carbon motorsport, this occasion adds an extra layer of significance to the proceedings. The team is looking forward to their next challenge, when Formula E returns to the country where it all began, China, for rounds 11 and 12 at the Shanghai International Circuit on May 25 and 26.
