ADAS: The Key to Reaching Level-5 Autonomous Vehicles

The next most significant jump to Level 3 will still require the driver's attention, but that level of automation will allow the vehicle to fully perform safety-critical functions like braking without any significant intervention from the driver through advanced sensor systems like cameras, radar, and light detection and ranging (lidar).
