This compact design also reduces the number of passive components on a PCB. When used with a compact connector, Single Pair Ethernet can save up to 75% PCB space, compared to current Ethernet over RJ45. Würth Elektronik Single Pair Ethernet Products offer isolation in accordance with IEC 62368-1. Typical applications for these products include Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base-T, Ethernet 2.5/5G and 10G Base-T, DC-DC converters, USB 3.1 Type C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, LVDS, high-speed data lines, and much more.
