Texas Instruments TIOL221 Transceiver
Texas Instruments TIOL221 Transceiver withstands up to 1.2kV (500Ω) per IEC 61000‑4‑5 surge requirements and includes built‑in protection against reverse polarity. This transceiver integrates dual low-power output drivers with active reverse-polarity protection. The TIOL221 transceiver can be configured to generate a wake-up pulse and be used in IO-link master applications. This transceiver features overcurrent, overvoltage, and over-temperature protections. The TIOL221 device also provides a driver output current limit via an external resistor. This transceiver is ideal for field transmitters and actuators, factory automation, process automation, and IO-link PHY in remote IO.
