Texas Instruments HDC2022 Humidity & Temperature Digital Sensor
Texas Instruments HDC2022 Humidity and Temperature Digital Sensor is an integrated sensor with a factory-installed PTFE membrane cover over the opening of the relative humidity sensor. The cover is a hydrophobic microporous PTFE foil that protects against dust and water according to IP67 specifications. The cover is designed to adhere to the package's over-lifetime operation while maintaining the same response time as a sensor without the membrane. The HDC2022 cover has a filtration efficiency of 99.99% down to a particle size of 100nm.The device is backward-compatible with the HDC2080, providing high-accuracy measurements with very low power consumption in a small DFN package. The capacitive-based sensor includes integrated digital features and a heating element to dissipate condensation and moisture. The digital features include programmable interrupt thresholds to provide alerts and system wake-ups without requiring a microcontroller to monitor the system continuously. Combined with programmable sampling intervals, low power consumption, and 1.8V supply voltage support, the Texas Instruments HDC2022 is designed for ultra-low power battery-operated systems.
