STMicroelectronics Standard Thyristors are invaluable when a simple gate drive or mains voltage is the given environment of the system. The STMicroelectronics devices cover crowbar protection, motor control, mains network switching, and various energy pulse delivery systems. ST's SCR devices allow a peak voltage of up to 1200V, a maximum current of up to 50A, and a gate trigger current from 5 to 80mA. The devices are available in packages of DPAK, IPAK, TO220AB, TO220 FP, D2PAK, TO220AB Ins., RD91, TOP-3, and TO247.
