Renesas Electronics ZSSC3230 SSC Evaluation Kit

Renesas Electronics ZSSC3230KIT SSC Evaluation Kit is designed for sensor module evaluation, laboratory setup, and module calibration development for the ZSSC3230 Sensor Signal Conditioners (SSC). Renesas ZSSC3230 SSC is a CMOS integrated circuit for accurate capacitance-to-digital conversion and sensor-specific correction of capacitive sensor signals. The Evaluation Kit is intended for communication between a computer and the ZSSC3230 SSC. Commands are sent via USB from a computer to the evaluation board. The microcontroller on the ZSSC3230EVB then interprets these commands and relays them to the ZSSC3230 located on the ZSSC3230 SSC Evaluation Board using the I2C communication interface.

The microcontroller also forwards any data bytes from the ZSSC3230 back to the computer via the USB connection. The data bytes can be sensor readings to be displayed on the computer by the software, raw analog-to-digital converter (ADC) data used during calibration or Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) data.
