Renesas Electronics ZACwire SSC Modular Evaluation Kit
Renesas Electronics ZACwire SSC Modular Evaluation Kit (ZSC31010KIT) provides a complete hardware platform for the configuration, calibration, and evaluation of the ZSC31010 Sensor Signal Conditioner (SSC) IC. Communication with the ZSC31010 IC socketed on the ZSC31010 SSC Evaluation Board is handled by the SSC Communication Board through the USB connection and easy-to-use Graphic User Interface (GUI) software. The GUI Software is available online for free download.
The Evaluation Board can connect to the user's sensor or to the SSC Sensor Replacement Board (SRB). The SRB provides a replacement for an actual sensor and can be used for the first step of calibration or a dry-run calibration. A potentiometer can adjust the simulated resistive sensor signal on the SRB. The kit also includes the small unpopulated Test Board for facilitating user prototypes. The modular design of the ZACwire SSC Modular Evaluation Kit allows developers to reuse the Communication Board, Test Board, or Sensor Replacement Board with different SSC Evaluation Boards for comparing Renesas Electronics SSC ICs.
