Murrelektronik Field-Wireable Insulation Displacement Connectors
Murrelektronik Field-Wireable Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDCs) offer a maximum supply voltage of 32V, a 3A maximum nominal current rating, and 500V voltage isolation. These IDCs have a robust design with an IP67 rating for tough industrial environments and are a quick and simple way to terminate cables with either M8 or M12 connections. These field-wireable IDCs use less than 50% of the time it takes to install traditional screw terminal connectors. The razor-style blades in the base make the actual connection to the wire. Simply tighten the strain relief by hand and with minimal force. Murrelektronik Field-Wireable IDCs offer proper pin alignment through a keyed and color-coded alignment insert.
