Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ6612A H-Bridge DC Motor Drivers
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ6612A H-Bridge DC Motor Drivers include four N-channel power MOSFETs and an internal charge pump that generates gate-drive voltages. These MOSFETs are used to drive reversible motors that drive one DC motor and one winding of a stepper motor. The MPQ6612A drivers with current sense operate on a motor power supply voltage from 4V to 40V and -40°C to 125°C junction temperature range. These drivers are controlled using a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) input interface. For the MPQ6612A-D-AEC1, control of the outputs is accomplished through the DIR and ENBL pins. For the MPQ6612A-AEC1, control of the outputs is achieved through the IN1 and IN2 pins. Otherwise, both parts are identical. The MPQ6612A drivers feature Over-Current Protection (OCP), Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO), Over-Temperature Protection (OTP), and cycle-by-cycle current regulation and limiting functions. These drivers are used in solenoid drivers, door locks and latches, and brushed DC motor drivers. The MPQ6612A drivers are available in QFN-18 (3mm x 4mm) package and are AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified.
