Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVKT-MP8860 Evaluation Kit enables quick evaluation of the MP8860 buck-boost converter that supports a wide range of designs. The MP8860 buck-boost converter is a four-switch synchronous integrated converter that regulates the output voltage from a wide 2.8V to 22V input voltage range with high efficiency. The converter provides flexible system configurations via the I2C interface. MPS EVKT-MP8860 Evaluation Kit includes an EV8860-Q-00A evaluation board and a USB to I2C communication interface with accessories (USB cable, 3-pin ribbon cable, datasheet, and driver files).

Kit Setup
EV8860-Q-00A Eval Board
The EV8860-Q-00A evaluation board evaluates MP8860 synchronous, 4-switch, and integrated buck-boost converter. This evaluation board features 500kHz switching frequency and comes in a 6.35cm x 6.35cm size PCB. Full protection features of this evaluation board include Over-Current Protection (OCP), Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Under-Voltage Protection (UVP), programmable soft-start, and thermal shutdown. Typical applications include USB PD sourcing ports and buck-boost bus supplies.
