Mikroe MIKROE-3017 Hexiwear Workstation

Mikroe MIKROE-3017 Hexiwear Workstation is a full-featured development board that expands the functionality of IoT tool with rapid IoT prototyping. Mikroe MIKROE-3017 development board evaluates NXP Kinetis K64F MCU, an Arm® Cortex®M4 MCU working at 120MHz, with 1M flash, and 256K SRAM. This MIKROE-3017 board includes mikroBUSTM sockets, a microSD card slot, a digital temperature sensor, buttons, LEDs, and audio amplifiers. The hexiwear workstation allows you to connect hexiwear to the outside world with the help of three connectors for each port. This hexiwear combines style and usability found in high-end devices and offers expandability. The development board comes with mikroProg OpenSDA programmer and an in-circuit debugger that can program and debug a docked hexiwear.

The hexiwear workstation is equipped with two audio amplifiers that are used to amplify the line level sound from the VS1053, a stereo MP3 audio CODEC IC. These audio amplifiers deliver up to 675mW of continuous RMS power into two built-in 8Ω speakers. The MIKROE-3017 board incorporates four mikroBUS™ sockets that allow interfacing with hundreds of different Click Boards™. This hexiwear workstation is packed in a protective box with a relevant document, USB cable, and hexiwear workstation board in an antistatic bag. The MIKROE-3017 board is available in 266mm x 220mm dimensions weighing 490g of board weight.
