Mikroe Dot Matrix R Click

Mikroe Dot Matrix R Click is based on the Broadcom / Avago HCMS-3906 four-digit dot matrix display module. The module holds four 5x7 dot matrices. The matrices are closely spaced with bright red pixel elements. Characters are clear and emit a bright red color. This color makes the display readable in any condition. Each display is directly interfaced with a microprocessor without cumbersome interface components. The serial IC interface allows higher character count information displays with a minimum of data lines. The easy-to-read 5x7 pixel format allows for upper case, lower case, Katakana, and custom characters.
