Microchip Technology SparX-5i TSN-Enabled Industrial Ethernet Switches provide a scalable solution for Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and seamless redundancy for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The SparX-5i devices are 64Gbps to 200Gbps Industrial Ethernet Switches supporting a wide variety of configurations consisting of 1G, 2.5G, 10G, and 25G Ethernet ports.
The SparX-5i devices provide a rich set of industrial Ethernet switching features, including the complete TSN feature set, L2 switching, L3 routing, seamless redundancy, high-precision timing, and an extended temperature range. Using multistage versatile content-aware processor (VCAP™) technology, These Ethernet Switches deliver VLAN and QoS processing that enables the delivery of differentiated services, security through intelligent frame processing, and flexible frame manipulation. A powerful 1GHz dual-core CPU allows full management of a Layer 2 and Layer 3 industrial Ethernet switching solution.
The Microchip Technology SparX-5i TSN-Enabled Industrial Ethernet Switches are offered in a 25mm x 25mm Ball Grid Array (BGA) package.
