Microchip Technology SHA105 Authentication IC
Microchip Technology SHA105 Authentication IC is designed to provide 128 bits of symmetric security targeted for disposable and ecosystem control applications. This authentication IC is intended to be used as a companion device and is microcontroller/microprocessor agnostic. The SHA105 authentication IC is used on the host side of symmetric authentication use cases and can provide secure key storage. This IC can also validate the MAC operation on an accessory/disposable security device through a CheckMAC operation. The SHA105 authentication IC offers extensive security measures against attacks and strong physical protection mechanisms against invasive attacks. Applications include host-side authentication support for disposables and accessory authentication, ecosystem control, and anti-cloning.
