Kingbright IR LEDs & Color/Photo Sensors

Kingbright IR LEDs and Color/Photo Sensors include GaAlAs/GaAs infrared emitting diodes and phototransistor/photodiode sensors. The infrared emitting diodes are mechanically and spectrally matched to phototransistors. These IR LEDs are suitable for infrared illumination for cameras, machine vision systems, surveillance systems, and industrial electronics.

Kingbright RGB color sensor and ambient light photosensor are used for display backlighting applications. These sensors feature level 3 moisture sensitivity. The APS3227SP1C-P22 ambient light photosensor is an NPN silicon phototransistor effective in power-saving display backlighting applications. This light sensor is sensitive to the visible spectrum. The APS3227SP1C-P22 sensor detects ambient light to control display backlighting in mobile phones, PDAs, and notebooks. The APS5130PD7C-P22 RGB color sensor consists of a 3-channel/1-chip silicon photodiode and is an effective solution for color balancing of display backlighting applications. This color sensor is suitable for colorimetry, printing process control, and display color correction.
