Infineon Technologies AUIR3241S & AUIR3242S High Side MOSFET Drivers

Infineon Technologies AUIR3241S and AUIR3242S High Side MOSFET Drivers are boost DC-DC converters using an external inductor and a gate driver. The AUIR3241S is used for back-to-back topology targeting a back-to-back switch. The driver features a low quiescent current on and off state and drives standard level MOSFETs even at a low battery voltage. The input controls the gate voltage. The AUIR3241S integrates under-voltage lock-out protection with diagnostics. AUIRS3241S and AUIR3242S are basically identical, the only difference is the operating level of the input pin. For instance, due to the active low level of input, the AUIR3242S makes relay replacement very easy. The AUIRS3241S can be driven directly from the battery voltage.
