Phoenix Contact Ethernet-APL Switches

Phoenix Contact Ethernet-APL Switches enable safe and efficient data transmission in the process industry. These switches integrate sensors into the Ethernet network using a two‑wire Ethernet connection. The Ethernet-APL switches bridge large distances, supporting trunk lengths of up to 1,000m and spur lengths of up to 200m. These switches provide a high port count, offering a total of 12 or 24 APL ports and also communicate with PROFIBUS PA devices. The Ethernet-APL switches ensure immediate availability of field-level data.

  • Use in explosion-protected areas is possible (zones 0, 1, and 2)
  • Bridging of large distances: trunk lengths of up to 1,000m and spurs up to 200m
