Diodes Incorporated DML30x High Current Smart Load Switches
Diodes Incorporated DML30x High Current Smart Load Switches are designed for efficient power domain switching (0.5V to 20V) with an inrush current limit via soft-start. These load switches offer integrated control functionality with ultra-low on-resistance, system safeguards, and monitoring via good power signaling and fault protection. The DML30x switches feature an advanced controller with a charge pump, soft-start via controlled slew rate, adjustable slew rate control, low standby current, and load bleed. Typical applications include servers, computing hardware, portable electronics, set-top boxes, servers, hot-swap devices, peripheral ports, cable modems, motor control, notebooks, and industrial equipment.Featuring a chip-on-chip design with an ultra-low RON N-channel power MOSFET, the switches provide high power density within an ultra-compact footprint. An underside heat pad enhances thermal efficiency, ensuring reliable operation. Power consumption is minimized with a typical on-state current of less than 150μA and 0.1μA in standby mode.
