Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX17548 Synchronous Step-Down Controllers

Analog Devices MAX17548 Synchronous Step-Down Controllers are dual-output controllers that drive nMOSFETs. The MAX17548 features a peak-current-mode and constant frequency architecture that allows it to operate up to 2.2MHz. The controllers have a wide range of operations with 4.5-42V input voltage and 0.8V to 24V output voltage.

The devices can be configured as two single-phase, independent 10A power supplies or as a dual-phase, single-output 20A power supply. The Analog Devices MAX17548 also provides the ability to run two controllers 180° out-of-phase to reduce the power loss and noise due to the input-capacitor ESR.
