Amphenol Aerospace VIPER® High-Speed, High-Density Connectors

Amphenol Aerospace VIPER® High-Speed, High-Density Connectors are designed to meet the demanding requirements of current and next-generation rugged military, aerospace, and industrial applications. These connectors utilize a shielded press-fit backplane and daughtercard interconnect platform, providing 63 differential signals per linear inch. The VIPER connector platform offers the ability to scale from 80Mbps to over 10Gbps while retaining the same VITA 46 backplane slot pitch at 20.3mm to 25.4mm. The backplane signal contacts incorporate a highly reliable four-point-of-contact beam design. The daughtercard and backplane contacts are stamped using Olin's high-quality C7025 copper alloy and are plated using nickel underplate with 50µin of gold on all mating surfaces.
