
Afero ASR-1 Secure Radio Module
Afero ASR-1 Secure Radio Module is a Bluetooth® Smart module that is for use in home automation applications and also enables ultra-low power connectivity for data communication. The ASR-1 comes programmed with authentication, encryption, and connection management software to ensure a reliable connection to the Afero Cloud. The components feature extremely low-power, secure, hardware-based cryptographic key storage, and crypto-acceleration. Private keys that never leave the module, are not accessible externally and are unique to each device. The module integrates a Bluetooth Low Energy IC, security IC, RF front end, and crystal into a small 7.5mm x 8.0mm x 1.8mm package. The Afero ASR-1 Secure Radio Module is equipped with proprietary IoT countermeasures designed to address and mitigate various attack classes, such as device characterization (“pattern of use”), man-in-the-middle, device impersonation, and denial-of-service (DoS).Features
