Murata Type 1GC Wireless Module
Murata Type 1GC Wireless Module is a small and high-performance module based on the Infineon CYW43907 chipset, which supports Wi-Fi® 802.11a/b/g/n up to 150Mbps PHY and Ethernet up to 100Mbps PHY data rate. The module also has a powerful integrated 320MHz Arm® Cortex®-R4 MCU for host-side applications. The Type 1GC enables high throughput consumer applications with its Arm Cortex-R4 MCU and no additional components. The device offers manufacturers an easy-to-design solution for data acquisition, device management, Wi-Fi+Ethernet gateways, and industrial control applications. USB 2.0 and SDIO 3.0 host and device modes are supported to have high-speed external communication. RF matching, antenna design, and regulatory certification are already taken care of and tested. Each module offers a complete network controller solution. The Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, security supplicant, and other network application features are hosted directly on the module. The small form factor of the Murata Type 1GC Wireless Module offers integration into size- and power-sensitive applications.
