Los MCU inalámbricos Kinetis KW2x de Freescale amplían la exitosa familia de MCU Kinetis basada en el núcleo de CPU ARM Cortex-M4. El Kinetis KW2x integra un transceptor RF de 2,4 GHz líder de su clase, un núcleo ARM Cortex-M4 y un sólido conjunto de funciones para obtener una solución inalámbrica IEEE 802.15.4 fiable, segura y de bajo consumo. Estos MCU inalámbricos ofrecen hasta 512 KB de flash, 64 KB de RAM y hasta 64 KB de FlexMemory. La compatibilidad con PAN dual permite al sistema participar simultáneamente en dos redes ZigBee, lo que elimina la necesidad de varias radios. Las pilas de protocolos de software, herramientas e IDE son compatibles con los MCU Kinetis.
