Noise Suppression for Rapid Charging

Murata Electronics Noise Suppression for Rapid Charging helps limit noise generated by a rapid charger and increases receptive range and speed. Rapid charging systems using DC-DC converters reduce reception sensitivity because DC-DC converters generate switching noise. An effective way to reduce noise generated by DC-DC converters is to insert ferrite beads into the output section.

BLE Chip Ferrite Beads

Murata BLE Infotainment Purpose Ferrite Chip Beads are designed to function similarly to a resistor with noise frequencies to reduce resonance and leave signal waveforms undistorted. The beads have a rated current range of 5A to 20A, an impedance range of 8.5mΩ to 30mΩ, and are available in 0603 (1608) or 1210 (3225) SMD case sizes. The ferrite beads feature nickel barriers and offer excellent solder heat resistance. Murata BLE Infotainment Purpose Ferrite Chip Beads can be used in high current circuits due to low DC resistance (0.008mΩ to 1.6mΩ). The ferrite chip beads are ideal for automotive infotainment and powertrain/safety applications.
