HAT Add-On Boards

Raspberry Pi HAT Add-On Boards are add-on boards for Raspberry Pi computers. These boards add various functionalities to the Raspberry Pi computers, including Ethernet or sensing capabilities, receiving digital terrestrial TV broadcast systems, and powering the Raspberry Pi computers.

Sense HAT

Raspberry Pi Sense HAT is an add-on board that provides the Raspberry Pi with an array of sensing capabilities. The onboard sensors can monitor humidity, pressure, color, temperature, movement, and orientation. The bright 8 x 8 RGB LED matrix enables users to visualize the sensor data, while the five-button joystick provides user interaction with projects. The Sense HAT is compatible with any Raspberry Pi computer with a 40-pin GPIO header, and it is powered by the Raspberry Pi computer to which it is connected. An officially supported Python library offers access to all of the onboard sensors, the joystick, and the LED matrix. Raspberry Pi Sense HAT is well-suited for projects that require orientation, motion, position, or environmental sensing.
