L-XL People Counting Sensors

Terabee L-XL People Counting Sensors monitor the number of people entering and exiting doorways or corridors using advanced Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology. These people-counting sensors provide 98% accurate data. The L-XL people-counting sensors collect non-intrusive depth image data, meaning that the sensors can never capture personal identity. The people-counting algorithm filters out objects and counts multiple people passing in both directions below the device upon entering or exiting a space. These sensors should be placed centrally above doors and corridors and 30cm minimum from the nearest vertical wall. Monitored floor area varies with installation height. The sensors do not require ambient light for optimal performance, making them suitable for low-light applications without losing accuracy.
