Murata Power Solutions IRQ-W80 and IRH-W80 Input DC-DC Converters deliver 150W/250W output power from an ultra-wide input voltage range. The IRQ-W80 converter complies with 24V to 110V input voltages, and the IRH-W80 converter complies with 16V_DC to 160V_DC, including transients as per EN50155 (2017) standards. The converters come in a fully encased industry-standard quarter-brick package with 12V, 24V, or 54V output voltages. The diode rectifier topology and fixed frequency operations result in efficiencies of up to 89% (IRQ-W80) and 91% (IRH-W80). Murata IRQ-W80 DC-DC Converter is designed to meet all UL and IEC emissions, safety, and flammability certifications. Typical applications include industrial, railway, and transportation.

Murata Power Solutions IRH-W80 250W Half-Brick Isolated DC-DC Converter provides a 250W single output from an ultra-wide input voltage range of 16V_DC to 160V_DC, complying with input battery voltage transient ranges per EN50155 (2017). This isolated, regulated converter module comes in an industry-standard half-brick package with high-efficiency levels of up to 91%. The fully isolated (4242V_DC) module accepts a wide input voltage range while maintaining a fully regulated single output. The output voltage offers overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and overtemperature protection. Murata IRH-W80 DC-DC Converter is designed for railway, transportation, and industrial applications and is optimized for embedded applications on railway rolling stock environments.

IRH Encapsulated 150W Isolated DC-DC Converters

Murata IRH Encapsulated 150W Isolated DC-DC Converters are optimized for harsh environments in industrial/railway applications and offer regulated outputs in an industry-standard half-brick fully encased package. The IRH components deliver 5V, 12V, or 24Vout from an input voltage range of 57.6V to 160V with reinforced I/O galvanic I/O isolation rated at 3,000Vrms. The modules incorporate many features to protect the power module from fault conditions and also expensive end-use equipment. Protection features include input under-voltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, output current limit, short circuit (hiccup mode), and over-temperature shutdown. Available options include various pin lengths, pin functions, and baseplate cooling options.
