This compact pellistor is optimized for methane response for up to 5% volume in air and can detect other flammable gases and vapors. The sensor offers basic sensor performance to enable a suitable instrument to meet the various (Group 1) mining performance standards. The VQ548MP is intrinsically safe and features a low orientation effect and high resistance to mechanical shocks. The sensor is ATEX certified, IECEx certified, and UL recognized.
