IXYS MCMAxYA/YB Bipolar Module Dual Thyristor Diodes offer a 1.06V to 1.12V voltage range, 160A to 260A current range, and long-term stability. These thyristors for line frequency feature long-term stability, a planar passivated chip, and direct copper bonded AI203-ceramic. IXYS MCMAxYA/YB Bipolar Module Dual Thyristor Diodes are suitable for DC motor control, AC power control, power converters, and lighting and temperature control.

Single- & Dual-Thyristor Modules

IXYS Single- and Dual-Thyristor Modules are single- or dual-thyristor modules with 800V to 2200V repetitive peak reverse voltage and 18A to 700A average forward output current. IXYS single- and dual-thyristors feature 3000V isolation voltage (UL recognized) and low forward voltage drop of 0.72V to 0.85V. These planar passivated chips utilize direct copper board (DCB) substrate technology.

MCMA Series High Powered Thyristor Modules

IXYS MCMA Series High Powered Thyristor Modules feature multilayer module construction with a direct copper bonding (DCB) technique. The devices also feature top-side electrical terminals with captured nuts, series-connected thyristor/diode, and thyristor/thyristor modules. Power semiconductor modules compared to discrete designs are the electrical isolation between the baseplate of the module and the parts subject to voltage (3.6kVRMS to 4.8kVRMS tested). These make possible the mount-down of any number of the same or different modules on a common heatsink. The modules are designed for adequate clearance and creepage distance resulting in Recognition by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).

MCMA65P1800TA & MCMA110P1800TA Thyristor Modules

IXYS MCMA65P1800TA and MCMA110P1800TA Thyristor Modules are dual phase-leg thyristors for line frequency with a planar passivated chip in an industry-standard TO-240AA package. The MCMA65P1800TA and MCMA110P1800TA Thyristor Modules feature an isolation voltage of 4800V, 1900V maximum non-repetitive reverse/forward blocking voltage, and 100µA reverse/drain current.
