Analog Devices Inc. DC3190B-F Demonstration Circuit
Analog Devices DC3190B-F Demonstration Circuit is a high-current, high-density, high-efficiency open-frame μModule® regulator with a 45V to 65V input range. The DC3190B-F demo board has an LTP8802A-1B module regulator that provides the microprocessor with a 3.3V voltage from a 54V power distribution architecture with digital power system management (PSM). The maximum output current for the DC3190B-F demo board is 140A.The DC3190B-F powers up to the default settings and produces power based on configuration resistors without serial bus communication. This feature allows for easy evaluation of the DC/DC converter. Download the graphical user interface (GUI) software LTpowerPlay® onto the user's PC to fully explore the extensive power system management features of the DC3190B-F and use Analog Devices I2C/SMBus/PMBus dongle DC1613A to connect to the board. LTpowerPlay allows the user to reconfigure the part on the fly, store the configuration in EEPROM, and view the voltage, current, temperature, and fault status telemetry.
LTpowerPlay GUI Software
LTpowerPlay is a powerful Windows-based development environment that supports Analog Devices Power Management ICs using each device's specified Demo Board. LTpowerPlay can also be used offline (with no hardware present) to build multichip configuration files that can be saved and reloaded later.
LTpowerPlay can function as a diagnostic tool during board bring-up to program, tweak the power management scheme in a system, or diagnose power issues when bringing up rails. The software also includes an automatic update feature to keep it current with the latest device drivers and documentation set.
