Automotive Inductors

Bourns Automotive Inductors are small, high current auto inductors featuring low DCRs. These inductive components meet the board-level requirements of many automotive applications. All Bourns components that are approved for automotive applications are manufactured in facilities that are fully certified to TS 16949 and have been tested and qualified using the AEC-Q200 specification for passive components. The inductor lines offer next-generation signal conditioning for lighting, comfort, positioning, networking, electrification, infotainment, and many other applications.

Shielded Power Inductor Kits

Bourns Shielded Power Inductor Kits provide a convenient supply of inductors useful for power supplies in portable communications equipment, camcorders, LCD TVs, and car audio. Bourns Kits for SRP lines contain shielded power inductors with current ratings up to 45A and inductance ranges from 0.32µH to 10µH. Bourns Kits for SRR lines contain shielded SMT power inductors available in E12 values with inductance as low as 1.9µH and current ratings up to 10.2A. Bourns Kits for SRU lines also contain shielded SMD power inductors, but feature various models in E6 values, currents up to 7.8A, and heights down to 1mm.

AEC-Q200 Qualified SMD Power Inductor Design Kits

Bourns AEC-Q200 Qualified SMD Power Inductor Design Kits contain inductors that provide engineers with a wide variety of inductances, rated currents, sizes, and features for quick-turn prototype testing. The kits include the SDE-A-LAB1 non-shielded, SRR-A-LAB1, SRR-A-LAB2, and SRU-A-LAB1 shielded, and SRP-A-LAB1, SRP-A-LAB2 high current shielded inductor series. The power inductors featured in these kits are verified to meet the vigorous AEC-Q200 stress test standard for automotive electronics. The inductors are ideal for power management and electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression in automotive electronics applications. The inductors are also suitable for consumer electronics, telecommunication equipment, industrial electronics, and medical devices, and other electronic devices where a higher quality standard is required. These inductor series are produced and tested at TS 16949 certified manufacturing facilities.
