Texas Instruments MSP430F249 16-bit Ultra-Low Power Microcontrollers feature two built-in 16-bit timers, a fast 12-bit A/D converter, a comparator, four universal serial communication interface (USCI) modules, and up to 48 I/O pins. The Texas Instruments MSP430 family of ultra-low power MCUs consists of several devices featuring different sets of peripherals targeted for various applications.
