PV Inverter Solutions

Omron Electronics provides electronic components for applications in PV inverters. For PV inverters in residential environments, Omron offers relays that feature rapid shutdown systems, ground fault detection, DC disconnect, and DC discharge and inrush protection. G5PZ-X PCB Power Relays

Omron Electronics G5PZ-X PCB Power Relays are compact SPST-NO (1a) PCB-mount relays that enable the bidirectional opening / closing of 200VDC, 20A. Bidirectional opening / closing of 400VDC, 20A is possible through a contact series connection between two product units. The G5PZ-X series features 5.5mm minimum insulation distance between the coil and contacts, 10kV impulse withstand voltage, 12VDC or 24VDC rated coil voltage, and 530mW coil consumption (further energy-saving effect is realized in an operating environment with a holding voltage of 50%). The relays offer a 15.2mm x 26.4mm footprint and a minimum of 2 million mechanical operations. Omron Electronics G5PZ-X PCB Power Relays can be used for main circuit shutdown and inrush prevention in applications that require high-voltage DC switching, including battery systems, energy storage systems, vehicle to home (V2H), automation equipment, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
