CERALOCK® Ceramic Resonators

Murata CERALOCK® Ceramic Resonators are characterized by a built-in load capacitor that eliminates the need for an external load capacitor. These resonators come in a small package and low profile that provide high-density mounting. Murata CERALOCK resonators are available in a wide range of MHz and kHz chip types in tight and standard frequencies for automotive and general usage.

Automotive Products

Murata Electronics supports the automotive market by supplying precise sensing technologies and high-reliability electronic components that are essential to the smooth operation of a vehicle. The evolution of automotive technology has been facilitated by electronic components that monitor the vehicle inside and out and exchange information among the components. Whether an engineer seeks timing devices, circuit protection, noise suppression, or inductors and capacitors, Murata provides a wide selection of automotive-grade and AEC-Q200-qualified products.  Murata's technology and know-how help contribute to developing a "ubiquitous network society," preserving the global environment and creating a future with safer and more comfortable automobiles.

CSTLS CERALOCK™ Resonators

Murata CSTLS CERALOCK™ Resonators are round lead-type modules that do not require externally mounted capacitors. These resonators reduce the number of components required and thus allow simple and compact circuits. The CSTLS ceramic resonators are available in two variants: the CSTLS_X with thickness-longitudinal vibration and the CSTLS_G with thickness-shear vibration. The CSTLS_G resonators operate at 3.4MHz to 10MHz frequency range, while the CSTLS_X resonators operate at 16MHz to 70MHz frequency range. These resonators are stable over a wide temperature range. Murata CSTLS CERALOCK Resonators enable the design of oscillator circuits that do not require any adjustment. Typical applications include dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) generators, clock oscillators for microcomputers, remote control units, and automated office equipment.

Automotive Timing / Infotainment / Sound Devices

Murata Electronics Timing Devices are passive components that create clock signals using the piezoelectric effect. These devices are ideal for various applications, including automotive, mobile phones, wearables, and AV/PC. Murata Sound Components (buzzers) utilize the natural frequency of piezoelectric ceramics. The sound components are used in a wide range of applications, including automotive, appliances, industrial devices, and small, portable terminals. Murata sound components may also be used as a confirmation sound for devices used in melody and audio speakers.
