Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

High Reliability TVS Diodes

Littelfuse High-Reliability TVS Diodes are designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. Littelfuse High-Reliability TVS Diodes have excellent clamping capability and low incremental surge resistance. Their plastic package has a UL flammability 94V-0 rating, and the diodes are lead free, tin plated, halogen free, and RoHS compliant. These TVS diodes are ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits used in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics applications.

Littelfuse SMCJ-HR and SMCJ-HRA TVS Diodes are designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. These devices are ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits used in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications. Littelfuse SMCJ-HR TVS Diodes are available with a variety of upscreening options for enhanced reliability and meet Group B Testing requirements.
