Space-Level Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX Space-Level Tantalum Capacitors are high-reliability solid tantalum capacitors ideal for space applications. KYOCERA AVX developed the SRC9000 specification to allow engineers to select ratings in its TAZ, TBC, TBJ, TBM, TCH, TCP, and THH component range. KYOCERA AVX Space-Level Tantalum Capacitors test appropriately for satellite applications. The capacitors offer a wide range of ratings and test options.

High-Reliability Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX High-Reliability Tantalum Capacitors offer higher capacitance ratings, a variety of case sizes, and low ESR options for critical output filtering applications. The portfolio includes COTS+ MnO2, wet tantalum, and polymer capacitors. KYOCERA AVX High-Reliability Tantalum Capacitors are ideal for automotive, medical, industrial, and specialty applications. 

TBM Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX TBM Multianode Tantalum Capacitors are ultra-low ESR COTS-Plus Weibull-grade and space-level capacitors. These capacitors use an internal multi-anode design to achieve ultra-low ESR, which improves performance in high-ripple power applications. KYOCERA AVX TBM Multianode Tantalum Capacitors are available with Weibull Grade "B" reliability and all MIL-PRF-55365 Rev. G surge test options ("A", "B", and "C"). The capacitance range for the TBM series is 22µF to 1500µF, with four termination finishes available.

Capacitor Solutions

KYOCERA AVX provides a large portfolio of capacitor solutions designed around density, size, and reliability requirements. Common capacitor types include aluminum electrolytic, tantalum electrolytic, ceramic, and film. KYOCERA AVX ceramic capacitors are commonly used in DC-DC converters, which can be found in nearly every subsystem of electric vehicles (EVs). 

COTS+ Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX COTS+ Tantalum Capacitors offer cost-effective solutions based on MIL-PRF-55365 standards. KYOCERA AVX COTS+ Tantalum Capacitors feature high capacitance/voltage (CV) ratings with low ESR characteristics. The capacitors are designed and tested for non-critical commercial and industrial applications. Custom screening options are available from Weibull burn-in times to the highest aerospace level testing to the SRC9000 KYOCERA AVX specification.
