High Power TVS Diodes

Eaton High Power TVS Diodes deliver reliable overvoltage protection with fast response times, low clamping voltage, and high peak current capability for electronic equipment. These devices utilize silicon avalanche technology to protect critical circuits against damaging transient surges, including electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transient (EFT), and lightning strikes. The high peak power, current capability, and fast-acting response times make these diodes ideal for protecting critical circuits. Eaton High Power TVS Diodes are available in surface-mount and radial or through-hole footprints in industry-standard sizes for both ESD and high-power suppression. Typical applications include 5G, consumer, computing, energy, industrial, and medical devices.

SMAJ 400W Transient Voltage Suppressors

Eaton Electronics SMAJ 400W Transient Voltage Suppressors provide a fast response time, typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to VBR minimum, and excellent clamping capability. These modules offer 400W peak pulse power capability at 10/1000μs waveform and less than 1μA typical IR above 10V. The SMAJ series comes in a low-profile SMA package that meets UL 94V-0 flammability standards and is UL 497B recognized. The suppressors are suitable for high-temperature reflow soldering (+260°C/40s at the terminal). Eaton SMAJ 400W Transient Voltage Suppressors are designed for surface-mounted applications to optimize board space. Applications include consumer electronics, telecommunications, computing and servers, appliances, industrial automation, mobile, and wearables.

Battery Management Systems

Eaton provides a wide portfolio of products for Battery Management Systems (BMS), including terminal blocks, fuses, supercapacitors, chokes, inductors, and more. Battery Management Systems monitor individual cells, system voltage, current, and temperature. When monitoring individual cells, the BMS balances voltages and regulates the current flow, and if the upper or lower voltage, current, or temperature limit is exceeded, the BMS temporarily disconnects the load or source. Eaton Battery Management Systems estimate the State of Health (SoH), State of Charge (SoC), State of Energy (SoE), and State of Power (SoP) in batteries.
