HES Circular Connectors

Aptiv (formerly Delphi) Harsh Environment Series (HES) Circular Connectors feature a rugged construction that withstands high vibration to meet SAE J-2030 standards. These connectors have a specialized finger design that virtually eliminates terminal unseats to achieve better contact (terminal) retention, up to 40% compared to existing designs. Sealing performance exceeds existing designs with a recessed three-rib design that maintains sealing properties even if a tight wire dress is applied. The three-rib design allows the Aptiv HES Circular Connectors to achieve up to 30% better-sealing capability when compared to existing designs.

Micro-Pack Connectors

Aptiv (formerly Delphi) Micro-Pack Connectors are designed to meet the needs of low energy (less than 5A), high-density applications. These connector families can be packaged as headers or in-lines, and are available in unsealed or sealed versions. The filtered or shielded connectors protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI). A 1mm male pin is used in both the 100 series (unsealed) and the 100W series (sealed) systems. The 100 series female terminal utilizes a box design with four contact points, while the 100W series female employs a sleeve configuration. They are also available in the HVT series with up to 96 positions and in the Micro-Pack 64 series with up to 73 positions.

HES Connection System

Aptiv (formerly Delphi) Harsh Environment Series (HES) Connection System offers higher current capability, improved sealing, and better terminal retention compared to standard pin-and-sleeve systems. Aptiv Harsh Environment Series (HES) Connection System consists of circular connectors, terminals, and rectangular 50- and 60-way headers. The HES series is well-suited for agriculture, commercial vehicle, construction, marine, and other harsh environment applications. This system is also compatible with existing systems in agricultural and commercial vehicle markets.
