Coaxial PCB Connectors

Amphenol SV Microwave Coaxial PCB Connectors meet or exceed industry requirements for high-performance, efficient, compact designs. Configurations include single-port and multiport 2.92mm, 2.4mm, SMA, SMP, SMPM, and SMPS edge launch, board mount, and thru-hole connectors. SMPx PCB connectors are designed for high-density applications and allow axial and radial misalignment to compensate for tolerance stack up. Pre-tinned versions and custom PCB footprint designs that optimize connector to PCB transitions are also available.

Tin-Dipped Surface Mount & Edge Launch Connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave Tin-Dipped Surface Mount and Edge Launch Connectors provide fast and easy soldering. These Amphenol / SV Microwave tin-dipped connectors prevent rust, corrosion, and oxidization. The surface mount and edge launch PCB connectors also provide increased solder joint durability.

QuarterBack SMP/SMPM/SMPS Connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave QuarterBack (QB) SMP/SMPM/SMPS Connectors provide a quarter-turn bayonet-locking feature on SMP/SMPM/SMPS interfaces. The connectors offer low insertion and extraction forces of 2lb/0.5lb (maximum) for SMP and 2.5lb/1.5lb (typical) for SMPM. The devices also exert less torque on board-mount connector solder joints during mating / unmating and permit more mating cycles without failure compared to full-detent SMP and SMPM. The QB connectors have a low VSWR through 40GHz (SMP) and 65GHz (SMPM and SMPS). Amphenol / SV Microwave QuarterBack (QB) SMP/SMPM/SMPS Connectors are ideal for high-vibration and test applications that require a large number of mating cycles.

SMP Connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP Connectors are designed to allow the joining of two RF modules by captivating the connector between two shrouds. This mounting method allows for higher connector density and for misalignment, which compensates for tolerance stack up. With significant withdrawal forces on the full detent shroud, SMP connectors are standard for quick and effective interconnects using both semi-rigid and flexible cables. The push-on design allows the installer to mate connectors without the need for threads or wrenches. Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP Connectors are designed to conform to DSCC 94007, 94008 and MIL-STD-348, and mate with other industry connectors such as the GPO.
