SMP Male PCB connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP Male PCB Connectors are thru-hole and surface-mount connectors that are either RF or coaxially connected. The SMP male connectors exhibit an impedance of 50Ω and a maximum frequency of 26.5GHz. Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP Male PCB Connectors feature PCB mounting and a solder termination style. The SMP male connectors are built using beryllium copper contact material and gold as the contact plating. The connectors operate within a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.

Reflow Stable PCB Connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave Reflow Stable PCB Connectors feature an epoxy-based dielectric that keeps the connector flush and stable to the board during the reflow process. These connectors are capable of multiple reflows and have a minimal board-to-RP height of 1.04mm. The glass seal reflow stable PCB connectors are rated at +500°C, and the epoxy seal reflow stable PCB connectors are rated at +255°C. These connectors are suitable for various applications and environments. The reflow stable PCB connectors have a frequency rating of 40GHz and are ideal for phased array systems, military/defense applications, and high-density multiport configurations.

SMP Connectors

Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP Connectors are designed to allow the joining of two RF modules by captivating the connector between two shrouds. This mounting method allows for higher connector density and for misalignment, which compensates for tolerance stack up. With significant withdrawal forces on the full detent shroud, SMP connectors are standard for quick and effective interconnects using both semi-rigid and flexible cables. The push-on design allows the installer to mate connectors without the need for threads or wrenches. Amphenol / SV Microwave SMP Connectors are designed to conform to DSCC 94007, 94008 and MIL-STD-348, and mate with other industry connectors such as the GPO.
