Current Sensors

Allegro Microsystems Current Sensors are advanced ICs that achieve high efficiency and power density in designs. The Current Sensors are fully integrated solutions designed to make design-in easy. Allegro’s current sensors include fast over-current detection in addition to a precision analog output. Additionally, the current sensors offer a high voltage with excellent isolation ratings of up to 1100Vrms. The devices are ideal for residential and industrial solar inverter applications.

0A to >1000A Field Sensors ICs

Allegro MicroSystems 0A to >1000A Field Sensor ICs offer high reliability, high voltage, and industry-leading accuracy and safety. The 0A to >1000A Field Sensor ICs are customer-programmable for offset and sensitivity. The Field Sensor ICs are packaged in a 1mm thick KT package SIP that is often used in applications with a ferromagnetic core and is designed to sense currents above 1500A.

ACS70310 & ACS70311 Linear Hall-Effect Sensor ICs

Allegro MicroSystems ACS70310 and ACS70311 Linear Hall-Effect Sensor ICs incorporate a Hall element with BiCMOS integrated circuitry, providing a fully monolithic linear current sensor IC. These ICs are designed to be used in conjunction with a ferromagnetic core, providing highly accurate current sensing. ACS70310 and ACS70311 ICs have a high operating bandwidth ranging from DC to 240kHz, a fast 2µs response time, and are ideal for use in high-frequency automotive inverters and DC-DC converters where fast switching is required. The ACS70311 includes all the features of the ACS70310 with the addition of undervoltage protection (UVD) and low-voltage programming that eliminates the need for voltages greater than VCC during user programming. The ACS70311 is backward-compatible to the ACS70310, making it a drop-in replacement. Allegro MicroSystems ACS70310 and ACS70311 Linear Hall-Effect Sensor ICs are available in an extremely thin case of 1mm thick and operate in the -40°C to +150°C temperature range.
